DIRECTOR OF ENGINEERING AND MAINTENANCE
Responsibilities:
- In-charge of CAMO and Maintenance teams;
- Oversee all Maintenance Requirement for Large Cabin Aircraft for HKJ, Aircraft outside Hong Kong under HKJ management;
- Deal with clients, work for new business and help the company grow in a positive manner;
- Ensure that engineering, planning, airworthiness review and other continuing airworthiness management activities are conducted in effective and reliable manner and meet the company strategies, expectations as well as relevant regulations and requirements;
- Responsible for the management of the issuing of the Airworthiness Review Certificate, the renewal and extension process for fleet of aircraft to ensure continued airworthiness;
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to optimize the maintenance in support of aircraft under HKJ management;
- Ensure effective safety and quality assurance implementation throughout entire organization.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Aeronautical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- Hold a valid Aircraft Maintenance Engineer License (HKCAR-66 or equivalent EASA/FAA certification).
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in corporate jet maintenance and engineering / Leadership position
- Experience in regulatory audits and authority liaison, with hands-on aircraft experience being highly preferred.
- Lead and manage the CAMO and line/base maintenance teams
- Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of HKCAD, T7 Part-M/CAMO, FAA, and EASA regulations, and manage regulatory audits and authority liaison effectively.
- Develop and manage the annual maintenance and engineering budget, including cost control, spend optimization, and financial reporting to senior management.
- Excellent leadership skill with strong project management experience.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skill.
- Ability to work under pressure with good decision making and deal with clients and working partners in a professional and quality manner, both in Hong Kong and overseas.
- Fluent in both spoken and written English, and proficient in Chinese (Cantonese or Putonghua) for local and regional communication.
- Willingness to travel extensively.
