AIRCRAFT MAINTENANCE ENGINEER (BASED IN HONG KONG)
Responsibilities:
- Perform aircraft maintenance certification and support defect troubleshooting and rectification;
- Execute scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, and issue Certificates of Release to Service (CRS);
- Troubleshoot and rectify airframe, engine, or avionics defects, especially during AOG situations;
- Ensure all maintenance works are performed and recorded properly according to the HKCAD/EASA/FAA regulation requirement of various national authorities;
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date technical records and work orders;
- Establish and maintain good relationship with service providers, internal and external customers;
- Supervise technicians and maintain a safe, organized, and FOD-free environment;
- Ad hoc tasks will be assigned by the superior or management.
Requirements:
- Right to work in Hong Kong without visa sponsorship;
- Degree holder in aircraft engineering is preferred and/or a qualification that demonstrates suitable experience in aircraft maintenance;
- Minimum 3 years’ active experience in certifying maintenance activities;
- Capable of working independently and exercising sound judgment when alone, while still coordinating effectively with the team as required;
- Proven hands-on experience in aircraft maintenance, defect rectification, and maintenance documentation;
- Thorough knowledge of aircraft maintenance safety practices and regulatory compliance requirements;
- Holds a valid FAA A&P license and/or HKCAD B1/B2 license;
- A type rating on the Gulfstream G650/G700 or Boeing B737-NG is a plus;
- Excellent command of written and spoken English & Chinese (Cantonese/Mandarin);
- Willingness to support occasional outstation assignments;
- Candidates with less experience may be considered for a certifying technician / technician.
