LOGISTICS AND STORE OFFICER

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for procurement activities including sourcing, enquiry, tendering, handle customs clearance, negotiation with vendors and suppliers in a cost-effective manner;
  • Receive, inspect, and issue aircraft parts and consumables. Verify that all components have the correct aviation certification documents (e.g., FAA 8130, EASA Form 1);
  • Issue and track specialized aviation tools to the engineering team. Monitor and arrange for the calibration of precision equipment;
  • Manage the contract properly and timely in a well planned approach;
  • Conduct regular vendors’ / suppliers’ evaluation and assessment;
  • Maintain updated price information in system;
  • Carry out ad hoc projects such as, market research, benchmarking exercises and information analysis;
  • Coordinate with both internal and external parties for obsolescence stock sales and ensure the MRO inventory database is 100% accurate;
  • Ad hoc tasks will be assigned by the superior or management.

Requirements:

  • Right to work in Hong Kong without visa sponsorship;
  • Diploma in Supply Chain, Logistics Management, Aviation or relevant discipline;
  • Minimum 1 year relevant experience, previous experience in private jet industry would be an advantage;
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, interpersonal skills and problem-solving technique;
  • Experience on contact vendors, OEM or MRO for spare part support;
  • Understand local regulation/requirement for the store and logistics handling in aviation;
  • Self-motivated, well organized, analytical and result-oriented and eager to learn the standards of the VIP aviation industry;
  • Proficient in MS Office applications;
  • Excellent command of English and Chinese, both spoken and written. Putonghua would be an added advantage;
  • Provide support on works during weekend if necessary.
